“The biggest personnel mistake” by Lech KaczyÅ„ski

Zygmunt K. was considered a protégé Lech KaczyÅ„ski while he was the Minister of Justice. He became an appellate prosecutor in 2001, and Lech KaczyÅ„ski appreciated him for supervising the case of the so-called right-wing surveillance. However, he quickly changed his mind, calling Zygmunt K. “the biggest personnel mistake”. Zygmunt K. resigned in April 2004.

In the same year, K. also became a media hero when he was allegedly attacked by unknown perpetrators who allegedly stole his notebook containing notes on the investigation into the murder of Papala, as well as the proceedings regarding the attempted sale of the Orlen company.
