Suflera's booth is one of the most recognizable bands in Poland, responsible for the hits “Jolka, Jolka, do you remember?”, “For the Last Penny” and “The Shadow of the Great Mountain”. He was the group's vocalist from the very beginning Krzysztof Cugowski. In 2014, Budka Suflera played a farewell tour and ceased its activities. After some time, the musicians dreamed of returning to the stage. Krzysztof Cugowski did not agree to this proposal. Drummer Tomasz Zeliszewski revealed in a recent interview for Złote Przebojy what their current relationship is.

Tomasz Zeliszewski recalled the suspension of Budka Suflera's activities. According to the musician, this decision was made for… Krzysztof Cugowski's requests. “Krzysztof asked us to do this, and we agreed. He had his reasons. This is where my comment ends, because we would not enter into any forbidden, sensational or spicy areas, but into areas that we cannot comment on in an evasive way in two sentences, because it wouldn't be fair, that's all,” said Zeliszewski. He also mentioned the band's reactivation, which was not met with Cugowski's enthusiasm. “We didn't have to convince each other. Romek called me, then Miecio, and in a few minutes we were a band again. We also invited Krzysiek to play, but “he refused” – added the drummer of Budka Suflera.

Later in the conversation, Tomasz Zeliszewski revealed whether he was in contact with Krzysztof Cugowski. “I can't answer what the relationship is between the band and Krzysiek, because there is no relationship at all. He moves in his own world. I haven't talked to him for many years. There is no regret, guilt or malice in what I say. We grew up in the hippie, pacifist trend, so let it stay that way. There is no reason to be hostile,” he confessed. What was their last conversation? “The last time on the phone was an occasion when I had some hope that maybe I could be invited to a concert. We talked briefly then, without any inappropriate emotions or comments. But I had no real contact with him,” said the drummer.
