Former NFL Participant Alex Collins {Dead} at 28

The NFL has misplaced a treasured teammate. 

Former working again Alex Collins—who beforehand played for the Seattle Seahawks and Baltimore Ravens—died in a bike accident, the Seahawks shared Aug. 14. He was 28.

In a tribute, the group referred to as him a “beloved teammate and fan favourite throughout his two tenures with the group.” 

Collins was using his 2004 Suzuki GSX-R600K bike in Lauderdale Lakes, a metropolis situated close to his hometown of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on Aug. 13 at round 10:20 p.m. when his car collided with a Chevrolet Suburban SUV, in accordance with a Broward County Sheriff’s Workplace report obtained by NFL.com. He was pronounced {dead} on the scene.

“It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Alex Collins this morning,” Collins’ household stated in a press release issued by the Seahawks following the deadly incident. “Alex was cherished by his household and buddies in addition to supporters from all all over the world. All who really know him can attest to his drive, dedication, and larger-than-life character.”
