Jorgos Lanthimos after the success of “Poor Creatures” awarded, among others, four The Oscars showed “Kinds of Kindness” and surprised Hollywood salons. In his film, the Greek director ruthlessly exposed the hypocrisy of the contemporary, Western value system. “Kinds of Kindness” is a drama filmed in the convention of a surreal and macabre fairy tale. It consists of three separate novellas connected by a star cast. Each of them focuses on toxic relationships that determine the lives of the characters.
For his role in this film, Jesse Plemons received an award at the last Cannes Film Festival. The cast also includes Emma Stone, who has been a close-knit professional duo with the Greek director for years. Work is already underway on their next joint production.
Witenberg also shared some good news for fans of Polish cinema. The sequel to the 20-year-old hit is in the works. Filming is already underway for the sequel to the crime comedy “Vinci” directed by Juliusz Machulski. Robert Więckiewicz, Borys Szyc and Marcin Dorociński have returned to the set.
