Five people associated with the neo-Nazi group Honor and Nation were detained by the French police. They are suspected of preparing an attack on the Masonic Lodge, the daily Le Figaro informed on Friday, citing sources in law enforcement agencies. As RFI radio added, they were also to plan an attack on the health minister and vaccination points throughout France.
Three people between the ages of 23 and 58 were detained on Tuesday in the distant departments of Nievre, Charente-Maritime and Hauts-de-Seine. Two suspects who had previously been arrested in another investigation into the kidnapping of a child were also transferred to police custody for interrogations related to the investigation of participation in a neo-Nazi group, which was supposed to plan violent actions.
French media reported that in addition to the planned attack on the Masonic Lodge, the group’s target was also Health Minister Olivier Veran and vaccination points across the country.

In May, three other members of the Honor i Nation group were arrested and accused of participating in a terrorist criminal group. Some of these people are associates of Remy Daillet, living in Malaysia and accused by the French judiciary of organizing the kidnapping of a child of conspiracy theorists, writes Le Figaro.
Since 2017, the French anti-terrorist prosecutor’s office has launched six investigations into attacks planned by far-right groups.
