Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing announced on Sunday that he was the victim of the theft of over fifty outfits from his new collection. It was to be presented at the end of September during Paris Fashion Week.

“A truck carrying the new collection was hijacked,” Olivier Rousteing announced on Instagram on Sunday. His entry shows that thieves stole a vehicle carrying about 50 creations from the new collection between the Paris airport and the headquarters of the fashion house in the capital. France.

Balmain is scheduled to present its spring-summer 2024 collection on September 27 during Paris Fashion Week, with high-end brands including Louis Vuitton, Dior, Chanel and Hermes.

A Balmain spokesman confirmed that preparations for the Paris show continue, declining to comment on the attack until the investigation is complete.

Balmain is controlled by Mayhoola, an investment company backed by the ruling family Qatar.
