The number of unemployed people in France increased by 3.9 percent year-on-year in the last quarter of 2024, the AFP news agency reported, citing data from the French Ministry of Labor. It was emphasized that this was the highest jump in the number of people seeking employment in this decade, excluding the pandemic period.
