However, she added that this decision would depend on the market situation in winter, because currently, rates are “normalizing” internationally.
Discussions on the budget and maintaining electricity prices. Paulina Hennig-Kloska expressed her opinion
– There is an ongoing discussion about budget for next year. We are talking and making preparations for how they will be shaped prices energy next year. The situation is dynamic, we want to stabilize the market – said Paulina Hennig-Kloska from Poland 2050. – I would like to recommend, depending on the market situation, maintaining the maximum energy price at such a level that any increases would not hit consumers. However, the budget situation is tense – she said.
The Minister also commented on the regulations already in force regarding: new maximum prices for electricity. – According to our calculations, energy prices should increase by a maximum of 26 percent. If someone received a higher forecast, they should have already received a correction – Hennig-Kloska emphasized in an interview.
The head of the ministry revealed when there could be noticeable price increases
The Minister of Climate and Environment also recalled that, according to government calculations regarding the introduction of the maximum rate, it was to increase monthly electricity bills for households by PLN 27.5 on average.
Importantly, according to Hennig-Kloska, the most noticeable increase in bills will only occur in November and December. – In the winter, we may experience higher energy prices, which is related to the greater demand for heat energy – summed up the head of the Ministry of Climate and Environment.
