From February 1, 2024, ZUS will start accepting applications for the 800 plus parental benefit for the new benefit period, which will last from June 1, 2024 to May 31, 2025.

The application will be automatically completed based on previous data

ZUS spokesman Paweł Żebrowski assured that the Institution is ready to accept applications, which can be submitted in several ways. – The first is to use the free mZUS application. It can be used on mobile devices – cell phones and tablets with Android and iOS operating systems. It must be downloaded from the Google Play and App Store. The mZUS application contains functions that speed up the completion of the application – said the ZUS spokesman. As he noted, “if an application for this benefit was submitted in the previous benefit period and ZUS granted it, the client may create an application in the application for a new benefit period.”

– Such an application will be automatically completed based on previous data. If necessary, the customer can edit them, added Żebrowski.

Features of the mZUS application

As in the case of PUE, if children are registered for health insurance at ZUS, the client can download their data (including PESEL, date of birth) automatically in the application creator. This means you don’t have to enter them manually. – The functions of the mZUS application significantly speed up the completion of the application, which can be sent quickly and conveniently via tablet or phone – emphasized Żebrowski. The application can also be completed on a computer via the Electronic Services Platform (PUE) of ZUS, the Emp@tia portal and banks’ electronic banking. Parental benefit is payable to each child up to the age of 18, regardless of income.
