The difficulties are related to the reconstruction of the Reguły stop. Trains will run on changed routes from Sunday, June 9. Replacement bus transport will be introduced on some sections.

“The investment will first include the reconstruction of the complicated track drainage system along with the reconstruction of the culvert located under the platforms, which will force the introduction of temporary restrictions on train traffic on individual tracks,” WKD informed.

Track disabled and replacement communication

In the first phase, on the section from Komorów to Reguły, track no. 2 (right towards Warsaw) will be closed. Between the Komorów station and the Warszawa Reduta Ordona stop, train traffic will run in both directions only on the adjacent track No. 1, while thanks to the construction of a temporary platform opposite the parking lot in front of the Michałowice Commune Office, trains will run on track No. 2 on the shortened Reguły – Warszawa Śródmieście WKD route.

A replacement bus service will be launched on the Komorów – Reguły section, which, due to difficulties related to the reconstruction of the road system in Pruszków, will take a shorter route through Pęcice. Some of the trains ending at the Komorów station will be connected to replacement bus connections going through the Staszica estate to the PKP railway station in Pruszków, and then to the Tworki and Malichy estates.

Ticket honoring

Travelers from the southern and eastern parts of Pruszków will be able to use public transport operated by ZTM, i.e. the SKM S1 line and buses 717 (on part of the route) and 817 (on the entire route), in which all WKD tickets will be accepted.

The phase related to the exclusion of track No. 2 will last until the end of June, while from mid-July to mid-August, the works will move to track No. 1 (right towards Grodzisk Mazowiecki). “The basic works should be completed by mid-August this year – in parallel with the opening of track No. 2 within the Warszawa Zachodnia station. The long August weekend should therefore be the first in a long time without any restrictions on the WKD railway line,” WKD added.

The carrier declares that all finishing works on the new platforms in Reguły should be completed at the turn of September and October this year.
