Frontier Airways flight emergency lands in North Carolina following odor-related occasion

A Frontier Airways flight made an emergency touchdown at Raleigh-Durham Worldwide Airport (RDU) out of an abundance of warning Saturday, following an odor-related incident.

“Earlier at the moment, Frontier Airways Flight 1159 from Norfolk to Orlando skilled a fume/odor occasion. Out of an abundance of warning, the plane diverted to Raleigh-Durham and each passengers and crew exited the plane through evacuation slides,” a spokesperson for Frontier Airways informed Fox Information.

The spokesperson added that no accidents to passengers or crew have been reported and that there was no indication of a fireplace on board the plane.

“All passengers are safely contained in the airport terminal and the airline is within the means of finalizing preparations to get them to their last locations,” the spokesperson added.
