On Sunday, frost will return to Poland, and due to the drop in temperature and rainfall, the roads will become slippery. The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management has published a threat forecast for the coming days. Weather alerts can cover the entire country.

Forecasters from the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMWM) issued a weather threat forecast for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

Meteorological hazard forecast for Sunday

On Sunday across the country Level 1 frost warnings may appear.

Plus, it might get slippery that day. Forecasters plan to issue icing alerts in almost the entire country excluding the following voivodeships: West Pomeranian, Lubuskie, Greater Poland, Opole and Lower Silesia.

There will be stronger winds in the north of the country. Strong wind alerts may cover coastal districts of the voivodeship Pomeranian.
