Unleaded 95 petrol became more expensive and reached the highest level since October 2022, analysts from the Reflex Brokerage House indicated. The average price of petrol is higher than that of diesel. The difference may deepen as e-petrol analysts forecast a further increase in gasoline prices. On the other hand, “there is a chance for a further decline in diesel prices.”

Analysts of the e-petrol industry portal pointed out that the second week of April on the retail fuel market brought a continuation of the trends from the beginning of the month – petrol prices rose again with a slight decrease diesel prices. Representatives of the Reflex Brokerage House indicated that gasoline prices Unleaded 95 after the increases this week reached the level of PLN 6.80 per liter, “i.e. the highest since October last year and thus they are more expensive than diesel by an average of PLN 0.10/l”.

According to e-petrol, “Europe was well prepared to introduce an embargo on fuel supplies from Russia and diesel stocks on the Old Continent remain at a high level all the time, especially since there are no signs of a spring revival in demand for petroleum products yet. diesel prices at stations, analysts explained.

The BM Reflex report shows that the average prices at stations in Poland on Thursday amounted to: unleaded petrol PLN 95 – PLN 6.80/l (+5 PLN/l), unleaded petrol PLN 98 – PLN 7.38/l (+3 PLN PLN/l), respectively. /l), diesel oil PLN 6.70/l (-1 PLN/l), autogas PLN 3.09/l (-1 PLN/l).

Refleks analysts expect fuel prices to remain at a similar level in the coming days. “The analysis of wholesale prices, which stopped growing due to the strengthening of the zloty, but also the slowdown in oil prices, shows that next week fuel prices at most stations will remain stable” – we read in the commentary.

“There is a chance for a further decline in diesel prices if wholesale prices continue to fall. Petrol prices will rather remain stable and should not increase. Autogas prices should remain stable” – added.

In turn, e-petrol analysts assume an increase in gasoline prices in their forecast.
