Fuel prices may slightly increase in the coming days, analysts predict. As they explained, this is the effect of higher wholesale fuel prices as a result of the increase in the prices of crude oil and finished products on the European ARA market, i.e. Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp.

According to the data of the Reflex Brokerage House, it is average gasoline price Pb95 at domestic stations is PLN 6.49/l, in the case of diesel it is PLN 6.24/l. “Over the week, the price of petrol increased by an average of PLN 0.2/l, while diesel oil by PLN 0.5/l. Taking into account the promotions in force on the domestic fuel market, in fact, drivers can refuel 0.30-40 PLN/l cheaper” – indicated Rafał Zywert in a Friday commentary , financial market analyst.

In turn, the national average diesel fuel price it may be around PLN 6.34-6.39/l. Zywert pointed out that Poland currently has the fourth lowest fuel prices in the European Union, after BulgariaMalta i Romania.

“The prospect of upward changes for petrol and diesel should not worry drivers – it can only be insignificant, and we should not talk about a possible price jump” – noted e-petrol.pl analysts.

BM Reflex analyst explained that “the expected, moderate increase in fuel prices in the country is the result of higher wholesale fuel prices as a result of the increase in the prices of crude oil and finished products on the European ARA market.” Representatives of e-petrol pointed out that a particularly significant change in Polish refineries in recent days concerned heating oil. As they reported, the fuel became more expensive by nearly PLN 106 per cubic metre.
