We are doing everything possible, I am talking about the political camp that I am leading, to receive these funds. But here the cooperation of various authorities is needed – said PiS president Jarosław Kaczyński in response to a question about funds from the National Reconstruction Plan.
The amendment to the law on the Supreme Court, which caused a conflict in the ruling camp, was supposed to bring Poland closer to the fulfillment of the so-called milestones and the payment of EU funds under the National Reconstruction Plan. The president announced his decision in February. He announced that he would not sign the bill and would submit it to the Constitutional Tribunal for examination of its compliance with the constitution. On the other hand, there is a conflict in the Tribunal regarding the term of office of President Julia Przyłębska. The Constitutional Tribunal has not yet announced its decision on the act directed by the president, though Andrzej Duda urged it to be dealt with expeditiously.
The KPO funds have still not reached Poland. Kaczyński: We are doing everything we can
The head of Law and Justice was asked about the KPO funds, which still have not reached Poland, in the program “In open cards” on government television Jaroslaw Kaczynski. “That’s a lot of money, I don’t question it, and it would certainly help us right now,” he replied.
– We are doing everything possible, I am talking about this government center, the political camp that I am in charge of, to receive these funds. But here we need the cooperation of various authorities, we do not always have a uniform position here – he admitted. Pointing out that this is happening even within the United Right, Kaczyński replied: – Yes.
Speaking on this subject, the president PIS “It’s time to restore the rule of law,” he said. – Because, of course, today we have a huge sphere of lawlessness in the European Union, that the time will come to establish a rule that what is acceptable in one European Union country must be acceptable in another, in all of them – he said.
At the same time, he maintained that “we must be in the Union and we must strive for change”.
