At least two cars flew over Poland last night. This is confirmed by observations of the Skytinel project, dealing with the monitoring of the sky over our country. Extremely bright streaks were seen from many places in Poland.
Last night brought unique events in the Polish sky. Just after 23 o'clock on Thursday, two cars flew over Poland. The phenomena were recorded, among others, by Skytinel cameras.
“The trace of the passage was visible for several seconds”
The first car was noticed at 23.13 in eastern Poland. His flight left a violent flash.
“The trace of the passage was visible for several seconds, but everything indicates that meteoroid was made of low strength material, broke very high above the ground and did not reach its surface,” reads on Skytinel profile in social media.

The second car appeared over the Łódź Voivodeship. His access to the atmosphere was lower, making the flight less dynamic.
What a car is
The car is an extremely bright meteor. The phenomenon is created by entering the atmosphere of a building with a size of a few centimeters and more. At this time, its surface heats up to several thousand degrees of Celsius, which causes its combustion visible in the form of a spectacular streak in the sky.
