In Zwierzynie (Lubuskie Voivodeship), a drunk 32-year-old man got behind the wheel of a car with two small children. The man lost control of the vehicle, hit a fence and a pole, and then overturned. Two boys, aged 6 and 9, were taken to the hospital. The driver was detained. He will be charged soon.
As reported by sub-inspector Marcin Maludy, spokesman for the Provincial Police Commander in Gorzów Wielkopolski, the incident took place on Friday (August 18) in Zwierzynie, in the Strzelce-Drezdenko district.
“After 5 p.m., the driver of the Passat drove off the road on a curve, lost control of the car, hit a fence and a pole. As a result, it rolled over. In addition to the driver, there were children aged 6 and 9 in the vehicle” – the policeman informed.

He added that other drivers who were traveling this route first rushed to help, and then the ambulance crew. The boys were taken to the hospital.
