Gaz-System, the operator of the gas transmission system, announced on Friday that it has already received a set of decisions allowing it to start the construction of the Racibórz-Oświęcim gas pipeline. The gas pipeline will enable, among others, the connection to the network of the 882 MW gas block in Rybnik planned by PGE.

As specified by Gaz-System, the last building permit for the 8-km section was issued by the Governor of Małopolska.
