Relatives of a 25-year-old resident of Gdańsk reported him missing. The man was found by the police in a serious condition in the trunk of his car. A 27-year-old man was arrested in connection with this incident.
A 27-year-old resident of Gdańsk was arrested after a few hours earlier, police found a missing man locked in the trunk of a car. The website triomiasto.pl states that the injured person is a taxi driver, but the police do not confirm this information.
The police received a report of the 25-year-old missing on Saturday evening.
– During activities in this case on Sunday after midnight, criminals from the police station in Śródmieście found the missing person’s car on one of the streets of the Górki Zachodnie district. After breaking the car window, they got inside and found the missing 25-year-old man in the trunk. The ambulance called to the scene took the man, who was in a serious condition, to the hospital, reported the sub-inspector. The police do not say what exact injuries the 25-year-old suffered. According to trojmiasto.pl, “the attacker beat (the injured party) unconscious and tried to cut his throat.”
A 27-year-old man was detained
She emphasized that steps were taken immediately to arrest the perpetrator.
– Criminal investigators from Śródmieście quickly established his identity and, together with other police officers, started a search. Today before 10 a.m. at ul. Gościnna, the police of the Prevention Department in Gdańsk detained a 27-year-old man for this case – explained the sub-inspector. Magdalena Ciska.
Officers under the supervision of the prosecutor’s office are constantly working on the case and explaining its circumstances.
