One person was injured in a Monday fire in an apartment in one of the “waves” in Gdańsk. The resident with facial burns was taken to the hospital.

The incident took place on Monday, June 19, just before 8 am. The fire broke out in an apartment on the fifth floor of “falowiec” at ul. Jagiellońska in Gdańsk

– Upon arrival, firefighters found a developed fire, intense smoke and the tenant of the apartment was already outside the premises – said the press spokesman of the Gdańsk fire brigade, brig. Jacek Jakobczyk.

The causes of the fire are still unknown

The woman was conscious, but with facial burns, she was handed over to the care of doctors and taken to the hospital. As added by Brig. Jakóbczyk, the police with the participation of an expert in the field of fire will determine the cause of the fire.
