Gdańsk police detained a man at the bus station who was wanted on an arrest warrant for theft. The 33-year-old tried to go to the Netherlands. The officers found amphetamine and marijuana on him.

The wanted man was arrested on October 26 at the bus station in Gdańsk. The press officer of the Gdańsk police, Sub-Inspector Magdalena Ciska, informed that the 33-year-old was wanted on an arrest warrant and a court order for theft.

– The officers went to the bus station and at the stop they noticed the wanted man who was about to board the bus. The 33-year-old wanted to go to Netherlands. The man was completely surprised to see the officers, said the policewoman.

During the search of the Gdańsk resident, the officers found bundles of amphetamine and marijuana in his possession. The man was taken into police custody.

According to the court's instructions, he will be sentenced to one year and three months in prison for committing theft crimes.
