On Sunday, a woman's body was found in Gdańsk's Oliwa district. A manhunt for the attacker is underway. With the prosecutor's consent, the police published a picture of a man who may be connected to the incident. The services warn that he may be dangerous.
The press officer of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Gdańsk, Mariusz Chrzanowski, said that on Sunday before 6 p.m. the officer on duty received a report that a woman's body had been found in Oliwa. According to the trojmiasto.pl portal, she was attacked with a knife in the vicinity of Spacerowa Street. The man was later seen in the Oliwa forest by another witness.

The official statement on this matter was issued by the Pomeranian police before 9 p.m.
“On site, under the supervision of the prosecutor, police officers from the revenue and investigation group are working, conducting an inspection, a police technician is preparing photographic documentation and securing traces. Police officers from the Forensic Laboratory of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Gdańsk are also working on site. A court expert in the field of medicine is participating in the activities,” it was clarified.
It was also reported that the City Police Commander in Gdańsk had announced an alert for police officers who were looking for a man who may be connected with the incident.
