She added that the men heard charges of beating the victim jointly and in agreement with a minor. “As a result of the beating, the victim suffered contusions of the head, face and chest, which resulted in a violation of the functioning of the body’s organs for more than 7 days” – she explained.
She pointed out that the prosecutor considered that the perpetrators of the act committed publicly and without reason, thus showing a gross disregard for the legal order. In addition, the prosecutor accused one of the men of forcing the victim to behave in a certain way.

The beating took place on April 20 in front of a shopping center in Gdańsk Wrzeszcz. The incident was recorded on a mobile phone and published on the Internet. The video shows two men beating the victim, and a woman whose voice can be heard in the background is recording the events.
The portal www.trojmiasto.pl reported on Friday that the beaten man is a disabled person without a permanent place of residence. After the recording was published, the video was secured by police officers who established the identity of the perpetrators and their whereabouts. On Friday evening, criminals detained a 16-year-old Gdańsk girl and a 21-year-old from Pruszcz Gdański and a 22-year-old from Gdańsk for this case.
The 16-year-old was placed in a foster home
A 16-year-old girl who recorded the beating was taken to the police emergency room for children. While checking her data, it turned out that she was wanted by the family and juvenile court, which issued a decision to place her in a youth care centre.
The men face up to three years in prison for their involvement in the beating. If the beating results in serious bodily harm, the perpetrator is liable to imprisonment for up to eight years. The crimes the men are accused of are hooligan in nature, which means that the punishment they face will be more severe.
