The police detained a woman and a man who attacked a pair of 16-year-olds in Gdańsk. They heard the charges. A 26-year-old and a 28-year-old were charged

Ciska reported that on Wednesday the 26-year-old suspect “heard charges for causing a 16-year-old medium bodily injury and for destroying the victim’s phone and causing losses of one thousand zlotys”. The prosecutor placed her under police supervision and issued a ban on contacting the victim and witnesses, and a ban on approaching the victim.

“The 28-year-old perpetrator today heard charges for beating a 16-year-old and for destroying his glasses, sachet and phone and causing losses for a total anchor of over PLN 3,000. By the decision of the prosecutor, the man is also under police supervision and is prohibited from contacting witnesses, the victim and a ban on approaching the injured party – informed the press officer of the Police Headquarters in Gdańsk.

She added that “the alleged crimes of the detainees were of a hooligan nature, which will increase the penalty imposed on the suspects”.

Causing moderate bodily harm is punishable by up to five years in prison. The crime of damaging property is punishable by the same penalty. Participation in the beating is punishable by up to three years in prison.
