Two brothers stored significant amounts of marijuana in their grandmother's apartment. They hid some of the drugs in the couch where the 71-year-old was sleeping. They will have to explain this in court.
The incident took place last Thursday in one of the apartments in Gdańsk's Śródmieście district. The detectives who went to check the apartment found a 28-year-old man and his grandmother, the 71-year-old owner of the apartment.
After entering the house, the police smelled an intense odor of marijuana. When they asked the household members where the smell was coming from, they said they knew nothing about drugs. However, detectives found several foil packages containing marijuana. They were hidden in two sofas, including the one on which the 71-year-old was sleeping.
All the marijuana was seized and handed over to a court expert for examination. It was determined that the seized drugs amounted to over 1.3 kg of marijuana, which could be used to prepare 1,300 portions of the drug.
