The highest-ranking American military officer, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley met with the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces on Tuesday Ukraine General Valery Zaluzhny. The meeting took place in Poland. Załużny informed about the meeting on his social media.

“Today in Poland I had my first personal meeting with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley. I thanked Gen. Milliey for the unwavering support and assistance given to Ukraine by United States and their allies. I presented the urgent needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the satisfaction of which will accelerate our victory,” he wrote on Twitter.

Previously, the AP reported that General Milley visited Camp Kherson, part of the Grafenwoehr training base in Germanynamed after the city recaptured by the Ukrainian army last fall, where 600 Ukrainian soldiers are currently training.
