About the death of a tourist from Polish she informed Tamar Belkania on Tuesday evening, deputy mayor of the city of Tsalenjikha. The tragedy occurred in the village of Chkvalerion the route to Intsra Waterfall.
“Polish tourist born in 1989 fell into the waterfall. He is dead,” Belkania initially reported on social media.

In an update, the deputy mayor said the incident occurred about 800 meters from the destination. The 35-year-old Polish woman had slip on the rocks and fall into the ravine. The woman was accompanied by her friends.
“All Tsalenjikhi services were mobilized. The woman's body was found in a deep valley, approx. five kilometers from the nearest route” – Belkania reported, confirming that the deceased was a Polish citizen.
The body of the 35-year-old was transferred to the Samkharauli Forensic Bureau in Kutaisi. The Georgian agency “Primetime” confirmed that the police have launched an investigation into the matter.
