For temporary increasing the level of security at the Air Force base NATO in Geilenkirchen near Aachen in the west German constant information from a foreign intelligence service about a possible threat of a Russian act of sabotage, the dpa news agency reported on Monday.
Based on German security circles, the agency learned that “secret services reported a possible threat” from the side Russia. It was supposed to be about “preparatory activities for probable act of sabotage on NATO base using a drone.”
