There are nine days left before the parliamentary elections in Germany. The latest poll is led by the Social Democratic SPD with 25 percent support. The CDU / CSU Christian Democrats are three percentage points less. 38 percent of voters still vote for whom.
According to the “Politbarometer” poll commissioned by ZDF television, support for the CDU / CSU bloc, similar to the previous two weeks, remains at 22 percent. The SPD continues to lead with an unchanged figure of 25 percent. The Greens lose one percentage point and have 16 percent of the vote.
There is no change in support for other parties: the liberal FDP and the right-wing populist AfD remain at 11 percent, and the Left party at 6 percent.
The remaining parties received a total of 10 percent of support, which is one percentage point more than a week ago.
According to the survey, 38 percent of voters are not yet sure who or if they want to vote in the September 26 elections.
In the survey of support for candidates for chancellor, SPD’s Olaf Scholz is still clearly ahead of his competitors. According to Politbarometer, 48 percent of voters would like him to take office. Armin Laschet (CDU) is in favor of 22 percent (plus one), and Annalena Baerbock (the Greens) – 15 percent (minus one).
