Leader of the German left-wing party BSW Sarah Wagenknecht On Saturday, she called for the establishment of a commission of inquiry in the Bundestag to clarify the role of the German government in connection with the attacks on Nord Stream gas pipeline.
She said the commission should investigate what and when the German authorities knew about the attack plans.
– If it turns out that the German authorities knew about the attack plans in advance, we will be dealing with the scandal of the century in German politics” said Wagenknecht.
The blowing up of the Nord Stream gas pipeline was a “terrorist attack on our energy supplies,” the politician added. She also criticized the German government for he did nothing to clarify this matter.
The Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance (BSW), which was founded as a party at the beginning of the year, is very critical of German support for Ukraine. Party leader Wagenknecht has repeatedly expressed sympathy for Russia.
