German police managed to identify the second man whose body was discovered in a corn field in Gronau in North Rhine-Westphalia.
This was possible thanks to the intervention of the deceased's mother, who reported to investigators in Munster.

The woman's DNA sample submitted for testing confirmed that the body belongs to her 23-year-old son.
It turns out that he was a friend of the man identified at the end of September, whose body was found in the same place.
A 23-year-old, just like his friend two years older, he came from the area Gdańsk.

Despite the autopsy performed, the Germans investigators have not yet determined the cause of the Poles' deaths.
The men's bodies allegedly contained a small amount of substances used to produce drugs, as well as traces of cocaine and amphetamine, but it is impossible to clearly state whether these substances contributed to their death.
The bodies of two Poles were found in a corn field in Gronau on September 8. A dog walker kicked out a man's shoe, and the police called to the scene discovered a buried body. Their deaths were supposed to happen about a week earlier.
