– We will not accept anti-Semitism. We have a transparently clear law: burning Israeli flags is a crime. Celebrating the death of innocent people is a crime. Shouting anti-Semitic slogans is a crime, Scholz emphasized, recalling that law enforcement agencies have an obligation to punish such violations.
– We must fight anti-Semitism – unconditionally – said Scholz. He added that he has confidence in the police and the justice system in this matter. – Law enforcement authorities have the necessary tools and must use them consistently. I have the impression that the police and courts know what to do, he said.
