According to police, witnesses saw the truck leave the roadway on the viaduct, crash through the bridge railing and fall onto the tracks near the Horrem train station. The driver apparently lost control of the vehicle.
The truck has Polish license plates. The viaduct from which it fell is over six meters high.
Driver injured, high-voltage lines damaged
The truck driver was injured and taken to hospital. Local media reports that the traction was damaged.
