In an interview with the Bild daily portal on Saturday, Markus Soeder stated: “The fact that the Minister of Economy from the Greens, who is responsible for the economic disaster and the decline of industry, he declared himself a candidate for chancellor, is mockery of voters. This is not what humility looks like.”
Soeder categorically rejects a coalition with the Greens. – None of those who caused this failure can be part of it new federal government – Soeder told Bild.
The Greens currently have about 10 percent support, and the Christian Democratic Union CDU/CSU just over 30 percent and leads in the polls.

Let us recall that the political crisis on the German political scene began on Wednesday, when Chancellor Scholz dismissed Finance Minister Christian Lindner from FDP.
As noted by the German media, the election campaign de facto began with the collapse of the coalition in Berlin. Without FDP in the chancellor's SPD coalition Olaf Scholza and the Greens they do not have a majority in parliament.
Scholz himself announced that he wanted the vote of confidence in his government – a precondition for calling early elections to the Bundestag – to take place in January. After reminders from the opposition bloc of the Christian Democrats, CDU/CSU, on Friday he declared that he was ready to discuss this matter.
