Germany is introducing temporary border controls from June 13 to July 3, the Polish Border Guard informed. The decision is related to the upcoming G7 summit. SG recommends travelers to have documents confirming their identity and citizenship.

As explained, during this period travelers can be checked when crossing Germany’s land, air and sea borders. “We recommend having documents confirming identity and citizenship” – emphasized SG.
Germany from the beginning of June have eased entry rules related to the coronavirus. When crossing the border, you no longer need to present a negative test result, a vaccination certificate or a convalescent certificate. The rules are expected to run for at least two months.
