The accident occurred on Wednesday (16 April) around 18.45 at the airport in Gliwice.

“At the airport in Gliwice, around 18:45 there was an emergency landing of the avionette – probably the reason was the engine failure while starting,” said the Municipal Police Headquarters in Gliwice.

There were two people on board. Nothing serious happened to the pilot and student. They left the machine on their own before the arrival of rescue services.

“People traveling by plane did not injure, were examined by an ambulance and remained at the scene,” said the City Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Gliwice.
