On Friday morning, a gas explosion occurred in a multi-family building on Królowej Bony Street in Gliwice. – One person with burns was taken to hospital by an Air Ambulance helicopter – reports Brigadier Aneta Gołębiowska from the Provincial Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Katowice.
The services were alerted on Friday at 8:04. – As a result of the incident, one of the internal walls on the top floor partially collapsed. There was also a fire in the apartment – informed Brig. Gołębiowska. The entire building had to be evacuated.
One person taken to hospital by helicopter
One person was injured. The fire department reports that the injured person was transported by LPR helicopter to the Burn Treatment Center in Siemianowice Śląskie.
There are about ten fire brigades on site. More information coming soon.
