Two machine guns, grenades and TNT were found by police during a search in the house of a resident of the Głogów Małopolski commune (Podkarpackie Voivodeship). The officers received a report about the theft of lamps from a car trailer and found weapons and explosives. The man was charged. He faces up to eight years in prison.
As Aspirant Andrzej Stebnicki from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Rzeszów said on Wednesday, the discovery of weapons and explosive material took place last Wednesday.
“Police officers from the police station in Głogów Małopolski were notified of the theft of lamps from a car trailer containing a GPS locator,” said Asp. Stebnicki.
Based on the signal obtained, the police determined that the stolen items were on one of the properties in a nearby town.

“During the search in the premises of the farm building, the police found two MAXIM model 1910 machine guns, a mortar grenade and an F-1 military grenade. After checking by an expert in the field of ballistics and the team of the Mines and Pyrotechnics Section of the SPKP in Rzeszów, an explosive material was also discovered in the form of TNT weighing 13 grams,” the officer said.
He was charged and faces prison
The owner of the arsenal, a resident of the Głogów Małopolski commune, was detained and faced prosecutor’s charges, for which he faces up to eight years in prison. The man was placed under police supervision.
