The police are dealing with a case of dangerous behavior of a driver on Saturday evening in the center of Głogów (Lower Silesian Voivodeship). According to the information we received on Kontakt24, the man allegedly left the club, got behind the wheel of a Land Rover and tried to hit passers-by. The recordings circulating on the Internet, which are said to be from the incident, show that the driver, after several nervous maneuvers, drove onto the sidewalk where pedestrians were walking and hit at least one person.

The incident took place on the night from Saturday to Sunday in the Old Town of Głogów. On Contact24 We received information that there was a fight in one of the premises, after which one of the participants got into a car and tried to hit passers-by. Several people were allegedly injured.

Recordings allegedly made during this event have appeared on the Internet. They show the driver of a large, dark car nervously reversing and turning several times, as well as chasing passers-by on the sidewalk. At least one person in the video is hit. Eventually, the driver reverses the car, enters another street and drives away.

This information was partially confirmed by Aleksandra Pieprzycka, press officer of the Wrocław Police Headquarters.

– We received the report at 11:25 p.m. We have no information about a quarrel, but there was a report of a vehicle that allegedly ran over a group of people. When the police arrived at the scene, there were no injuries, only several damaged vehicles parked along the road. We confirmed the report based on monitoring. The police will work to reach the person who was driving the vehicle and the people injured as a result of the incident. At this point, it is difficult to say what the nature of the activities will be, Pieprzycka said.
