He was driving correctly on a moped, when suddenly in Gołaszyn (Greater Poland Voivodeship) a passenger car left the road and cut him off. The driver of the two-wheeler had no chance to react, he hit the side of the car with force. The man was hospitalized with multiple injuries. The driver of the car did not have a driving license.
The accident happened on Sunday around 4:20 pm in Gołaszyn on the viaduct towards Góra. – A 44-year-old resident of Rawicz drove a Volkswagen moped up the road. The car driver did not obey the “stop” sign – informs Beata Jarczewska from the County Police Headquarters in Rawicz.
The policemen at the scene determined that the driver was a 44-year-old resident of Rawicz. As it turned out, the man did not have a driving license.
A moped in a hospital, the driver will go to court
A moped driver, 49-year-old resident of the Bojanowo commune, was hospitalized. He has a broken bone in his wrist and in the palm of his right hand, he also suffered – according to police reports – damage to his kneecap in his right knee.
For the perpetrator of the accident, the whole case will end in court. – He will be responsible for causing a road accident, he will also not avoid consequences for driving a vehicle without the required qualifications – Jarczewska said.
