61 gold bars on the border: During the inspection of one of the cars, officers of the Ukrainian customs service found 61 gold bars in it, the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Service of Ukraine reported. According to Ukrainian border guards, ingots contained 99.9 percent pure gold.
A find worth the apartment: The value of the find is PLN 6 million hryvniaconverted into Polish zlotys it is almost PLN 600,000. Total weight of gold bars that's 1.5 kilograms. The gold was in the armrest of a Toyota car. A 37-year-old woman from Donetsk and a 67-year-old man were traveling in the car.
Where did gold come from? Ukrainian customs services report that the driver of the Toyota and the passenger were unable to explain how the gold bars ended up in the carthey also did not have appropriate documents confirming their possession of the valuable metal.
5 kg of gold under clothes: “Fakt” reminds that at one time there was also a lot of news about a senior citizen from Ukraine who hid 5 kg of gold under her clothes. It was as many as 670 gold coins. If the woman had submitted an appropriate declaration in advance, she could have imported the gold legally. The lack of the appropriate document cost her PLN 50,000. zloty.
