The 31-year-old called the emergency number informing that she was kidnapped. The woman cried, and the screams of a man who wanted her to give him a phone. This mobilized several police and border guards. However, it turned out that the notification was false, the 31-year-old did not need help. She was drunk and reported a kidnapping when the partner took her from the party.
The incident occurred on Tuesday in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. According to the police, the 31-year-old called the emergency number 112. She claimed that the man pulled her into the car and was driving in an unknown direction.
“The application sounded serious. The woman cried, praised herself in an illogical way, and in the background you could hear the screams of a man who demanded that the woman give him the phone,” describes the officers.
Although the woman did not provide her data, the police quickly determined it and started working.
It turned out that she did not need help
“The police determined the place of residence of the 31-year-old and addresses at which she could stay recently. They talked with the relatives and neighbors of a woman. The officer of the Gołdap unit's duty officer immediately informed the Poviat Police Headquarters in Węgorzewo about the arrangements made and asked for a post on the poster Provincial Road No. 650, to stop for road control of the described vehicle ” – describe Warmian -Masurian officers.
The duty officer of the Gołdap headquarters was constantly trying to connect with the applicant. When he finally managed to reach a woman, she said that she was in Banie Masurian.
“Immediately, police officers and the officers of the Border Guard in the Masurian Banie went to the address immediately. When the man took her from alcohol libation, she decided to report the kidnapping, “the officers informed.
The services may have been needed elsewhere
An unfounded notification of a woman mobilized several patrols of policemen from the Poviat Police Headquarters in Gołdap and Węgorzewo, as well as the Border Guard officers in Banie Masurian.
“These resources could be used at that time in a different place. Now the 31 -year -old will bear a strict consistency for a unfounded call of the services,” the police pointed out.
The officers prepared a note from the intervention, on the basis of which the procedure for an offense under Art. 66§1 of the Code of Offenses. The 31-year-old may be punishable by arrest, restriction of liberty or a fine to PLN 1,500.
