A 63-year-old man died in an accident that occurred in Gołoszyce (Świętokrzyskie). According to police findings, the driver of the passenger car drove off the road and hit a tree.
The accident occurred on Saturday (17 August) after 7 p.m. in the town of Gołoszyce in the Opatów district on national road No. 74.
“A passenger car, driven by a 63-year-old resident of the Opatów district, for reasons still unexplained, drove into the opposite lane and hit a tree. An Air Ambulance helicopter landed at the scene. The doctor pronounced the man dead,” said Staff Sergeant Monika Żurek from the Opatów District Police Headquarters.

The exact causes and circumstances of the incident are being investigated by the police under the supervision of the prosecutor.
The road was completely blocked in both directions for four hours. Police set up detours for drivers.
