Police officers from Golub-Dobrzyń (Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship) were alerted on Monday that there was a coffin with a wreath on the lid on Hallera Street. It turned out that for an unknown reason it fell out of the hearse going to the funeral. – The employees returned and quickly took the coffin, I do not know what to say – says tvn24.pl representative of the funeral home.
On the recording and photos received by our reporter, you can see that the coffin was lying in the middle of the intersection. – Look, the coffin fell out! – you can hear the words of the clearly surprised author of the film on the recording. Soon after, which can also be seen on the recording, the coffin was put into the white hearse by two men, employees of the funeral home. We managed to reach the representative of the company.
– The police have already been here. Perhaps the lock was damaged, it’s hard for me to talk about the reasons. We are terribly sorry, the woman told us over the phone in a broken voice.
She added that the police had already arrived at the plant regarding the incident.

On the way to the funeral
As we found out unofficially, the employees of the funeral home were going to a funeral in one of the towns near Golub-Dobrzyń.
– From the wreath on the coffin, you can say that inside was a body that was supposed to be placed in the grave. Most likely, the coffin was not properly secured – a representative of one of the local funeral companies tells us.
He noted that he sympathizes with the competition. This is something you wouldn’t wish on your worst enemy. A very nice thing. It is also hard not to think about the family who had to face the incident on such a difficult day – the interlocutor tells tvn24.pl.

Aspirant Justyna Skrobiszewska from the police in Golub-Dobrzyń reports that the duty officer of the district headquarters was alerted about the incident around noon.
– One of the drivers who was passing Haller Street called us. He reported that a decorated coffin lay on the road. A patrol was sent to the site, but the uniforms did not find the coffin on the spot – asp. Skrobiszewska.
He points out that it is too early to talk about the causes of the incident.
