The Social Insurance Institution has announced when the payment of Dobry Start benefits will start, i.e. the so-called 300 plus. The money is to support the purchase of layettes for children for the upcoming school year. Who can apply and what to do to get support as soon as possible?
The Good Start benefit is granted once a year for each child of the age who studies at school from the 7th to the 20th year life, and in the case of people with disabilities – up to 24 years of age.
A good start: when the payouts start
Social Security reported that Payments of the Dobry Start benefit, the so-called 300 plus, for school starter kits for students will start on July 18. Parents can find information about the award of money on the profile of the Electronic Services Platform (PUE) portal of the Social Insurance Institution.
– Currently, the first information about granting the benefit has been sent to ZUS clients, which was posted on the PUE ZUS portal. In the following days, further information about the award of the benefit will be sent successively. The notification of placing the information on the award of the benefit will be sent to the e-mail address provided by the applicant in the application – ZUS President Gertruda Uścińska announced in the announcement.
Who is eligible for the benefit?
To receive the benefit, you must submit an application: via electronic banking, PUE ZUS or via the Emp @ tia MRiPS portal. It can be done by mother, father, legal guardian or the actual guardian of the child, that is the person caring for the child who applied to the guardianship court for the adoption of the child.
Money for the purchase of books and other equipment necessary for students of primary schools, high schools, post-secondary schools and other educational institutions, are due to all parents or guardians, regardless of the amount of earnings. The sum of PLN 300 is paid out once.
By when can the application be submitted?
This year’s the call for applications lasts until November 30th. The benefit to the bank account indicated in the application will be paid and granted by ZUS. According to the data of the Ministry of Family and Social Policy, approximately 4.4 million children benefit from the Good Start each year. The total amount of support in 2018-2022 is to amount to approximately PLN 6.65 billion.
