Google Poland received the Secretary of State’s Award for corporate excellence. The company was recognized for its commitment to promoting gender equality, supporting women in pursuing leadership positions and in technology initiatives. The ceremony was attended by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and US Ambassador to Poland Mark Brzezinski.
On Monday at the State Department USA The Secretary of State’s Award for Corporate Excellence (ACE) ceremony took place. Google Poland was among the winners.
The company was awarded, among others: for its commitment to promoting gender equality in its offices in Poland, supporting women in pursuing leadership positions and in technology initiatives, as well as professional support for Ukrainian women who have found refuge in Poland.
Ambassador Mark Brzezinski about Google Poland
According to US ambassador to Poland, Marek Brzezinski, Google Poland is a great example of American corporate responsibility. – What we see in Poland is that collective security works. As we say in Poland: Poland is safe, Poland is secured. Even during the crisis in Eastern Europe – he emphasized during his speech Mark Brzezinski.
The United States Ambassador to Poland drew attention to cooperation with the private sector to help millions of Ukrainian refugees in Poland. – The American business community is thriving in Poland. There are over 1,500 American companies employing over 300,000 people. But even against this background, Google Polska stands out, said Brzezinski.
– Google Polska not only brings American capital to Poland. It also projects and embodies American values. Google Polska is committed to creating an equal environment for women and girls through initiatives such as Głos Pisany Szminką – added the ambassador.
Mark Brzezinski also posted an entry on X (formerly Twitter), where he pointed to the involvement of American companies in supporting women in achieving management positions and encouraging girls to pursue professional development in science-related fields.

The awards were granted in three categories: Innovation, Women’s Economic Security, and Sustainable Supply Chains.

The Secretary of State Awards for Corporate Excellence have been awarded since 1999. The awards are intended to highlight the key role of American companies in raising standards of business conduct.
