Google Stadia is shutting down quickly, so switch your video games and saves whilst you can

Google Stadia, the corporate’s not-long-for-this-world cloud gaming service, might be shutting down for good on January 18th. (Particularly, January 18th at 11:59PM PT, Google spokesperson Patrick Seybold confirmed to The Verge.) Whereas the shutdown signifies that you’re about to lose entry to your entire titles and saves on Stadia, many publishers have shared methods to carry your purchases and progress to different platforms so you may maintain enjoying your video games.

We’ve rounded up a few of these choices beneath; if you wish to carry over what you may, you may need to begin these processes quickly. (If I forgot any, email me and I can add them.)

PS: Google can be refunding all Stadia software purchases from the Stadia Retailer and hardware purchases from the Google Retailer. The corporate started processing refunds in November, and expects to course of the “majority” of refunds by January 18th, so control your e mail for affirmation.
