Police officers from Gorzów Wielkopolski detained a 28-year-old man who was vandalizing parked cars on the Staszica estate. The man kicked them, ripped off mirrors, windshield wipers, and destroyed license plates. The officers were helped by residents to catch the aggressor.
The incident occurred on the night of Monday to Tuesday on Dunikowskiego Street in Gorzów Wielkopolski. Residents heard a noise and noticed a man destroying vehicles. They alerted the police.
Several police patrols were sent to intervene. During this time, witnesses not only recorded the vandal's behavior, but also followed him and prevented him from escaping. Thanks to this, he will not escape responsibility.

According to police findings, the 28-year-old was walking down the street, ripping off mirrors and windshield wipers, kicking cars and damaging license plates. He could have probably destroyed cars parked not only on Dunikowskiego Street, but also on Fredry and Matejki Streets.
– Damage to over 10 vehicles was noticed at night, but the number may be greater. Whether the 28-year-old is responsible for all of them will be known after the investigation is completed. The amount of damage will also be estimated then – said Commissioner Grzegorz Jaroszewicz from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Gorzów Wielkopolski.
