1.8 per mille of alcohol in the body had a man who was hit on Saturday on the S3 expressway near Gorzów Wielkopolski. – He stepped under the car heading towards Szczecin. It turned out that he was intoxicated – reported Magdalena Ziętek from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Gorzów Wielkopolski.
The incident took place on Saturday around 5 p.m., on the section of the S3 expressway between the Gorzów Północ and Gorzów Zachód junctions. The man probably intended to shorten his way, crossed the fence along the expressway, and then the energy barriers. When he hit the road, he was hit by a Hyundai driver.
He broke his arm and leg
The driver had little chance of noticing a pedestrian who was wearing dark clothes. – Given the circumstances and location of this accident, he was very lucky. After the deduction, he was conscious – said Magdalena Ziętek.
The man hit was taken to hospital. According to the portal gorzowianin.com, he suffered a fracture of an arm and a leg and head injuries. The study showed that he had more than 1.8 per mille of alcohol in his body.
As Ziętek reminds us, pedestrian traffic is forbidden on expressways and highways. Due to the accident, traffic towards Szczecin was suspended for several dozen minutes, and drivers had to take a detour along the city streets.
