Gorzów police officers were informed by a resident of the city that the duck family was crossing a busy street. They went to the site and provided assistance to the birds so that they reached the Warta River safely.

The incident took place on May 21 in the morning on Jagiełły Street in Gorzów Wielkopolski. A city resident reported to the police that a duck with her babies was crossing a busy street. The officers went to the indicated place and helped the duck family cross safely to the Warta River.

“Although it was not an easy task, it was a success. They received applause from the residents along the way. It's not every day you see police officers in such a situation,” we read in the police statement.
